North Carolina and the U.S. East Coast is now within reach of the newest, most complete Equine Facility and Agricultural Center - the "Senator Bob Martin Eastern Agricultural Center." This state of the art facility is located in Central, Eastern North Carolina in the welcoming town of Williamston. Interstate access from Highway 64 by-pass will make access from North, South, and Western Points very convenient via I-95 and four lane US Highway 64.
The Coliseum hosts a 150' by 300' arena with the most ideal footing designed for versatility to meet the discriminating needs of all livestock & equine events with the most modern custom designed ground and watering equipment to control and maintain the most ideal conditions. To compliment the arena is permanent, flip-up, individual seats for 2,224 spectators; along with accommodations for more in temporary, removable bleachers.
With a raised center, gable roof design, the coliseum offers a well ventilated air circulating system along with radiant heat to control a comfortable climate for exhibitors, spectators and animals. Furthermore, there is a 75' by 125' fully enclosed and covered warm-up paddock directly attached. We have 296 permanent stalls developed in two barn units. Each unit serving 74 stalls with sliding doors, full aluminum grilled fronts, ties on all four walls and permanent galvanized folding blanket racks. Each barn unit has full service wash racks for the animals as well as human rest rooms. Shower facilities are also in one of the barn units.
Recently a 14,000 square foot Multi-Purpose building, along with RV sites and another outdoor 120' by 240' covered warm-up arena have been completed.
The entire Agricultural Center is located on 168 acres that will enable us to develop; outdoor dressage arenas, cross-country courses, trails for recreation, more camping spaces, and more permanent stalls.
